ASSAM & ARUNACHAL PRADESH OFF SEASON
NOTE: FOREIGNERS VISITING ARUNACHAL PRADESH, NAGALAND, MIZORAM AND MANIPUR NEED OBTAIN RESTRICTED AREA PERMIT( RAP), INSTEAD OF INNER LINE PERMIT.IT COST USD 50/- PER HEAD CHARGED BY THE GOVT. FOREIGNERS ALSO NOT ALOWED TO VISIT PTSO AND TSONGESWAR LAKE.
ITINERARY 1: (10 DAYS 09 NIGHTS) OFF SEASON
##Day 01: Guwahati-Bhalukpong ( 06 hrs drive by road)-On arrival at Guwahati airport/Railway station, driven away to the Bhalukpong on the Assam Arunachal border, through beautiful Assamese villages,tea gardens, crossing lot many rivers, driving by the side of Himalayan beauty and night stay at tourist lodge.
## Day 02: Bhalukpong-Twang (10 hrs climb): Driving to Twang and night stay at hotel Samdrupling/ Buddha.
## Day 03: Twang: Full day atbeautiful Twang, sight seeing in and around Twang including centuriesold Twang monastery,Craft centre,Indo China War memorial, ice full PTSO Lake, Tsongeswar Lake,Overnight again at hotel Samdrupling/Budha.(FOREIGNER NOT ALLOWED HERE)
## Day 04: Twang-Dirang (06 hours): Drive to
BeautifulDirangValley. Enroute visit to magnificent Nuranang falls near Jang. Overnight at hotel Pemaling.
## Day 05: Dirang-Sangsua/Gatoonga Tea Estate (08 hrs): Driving down to Sangsua/Gatoonga TE near Jorhat of upper Assam and overnight at the heritage tea garden manager”s bungalow, with presentation of local folk artist performances like Bihu dance/Jhumoor etc.
## Day 06: Sangsua/Gatoonga TE: Enjoy the first half of the day with tea tour followed by leisure. Night stay at the same TE.
## Day 07: Sangsua/Gatoonga TE-Sivasagar (02 hrs): Driven to Sivasagar,the once seat of the powerful Ahom kingdom,who ruled for 6 centuries before the advent of the British in the year 1826.This era was the golden one in the Assam history that witnessed a very high level of civilization.Later check in at hotel Shiva Palace followed by local sight seeing to Ahom monuments called maidam of these great kingdom.
## Day08: Sivasagar –Guwahati: ( 07 hours): After early breakfast driven to some more places around like Kareng ghar (Gargaon palace),Charaideo Maidam( burial vaults of Ahom royals),Rong ghar, Talatal ghar. Driven back to Guwahati and night stay at Brahmaputra Jungle resort on the out skirt of the city adjoining Amchang Wild life Sancutary.
## Day 09 : Full day sight seeing at Guwahati.Visit to the Shakti temple Kamakhya, atop Nilachal hills constructed by then Pragjyotishpur king Narakasur, Shakardeva kalakshetra, State Museum etc.
## Day 10: Dropping at Guwahati airport/Railway station
End of the tour.
Tour cost: Rs. 38000/- per head. URO- 1150 per head.( with min. group of 4 per).
Package includes: All transfer in Tata Sumo victa, accommodations in twin sharing, breakfast, Entry fee,Tea tours,Inner line permit fee, Guide and driver charges,service taxetc.
